1. (with countable nouns) quite a few, quite a number

   Байтаҡ кеше йыйылды.‎

   Baytaq keše yïyïldï.

   Quite a number of people have gathered.

2. (with uncountable nouns) quite a lot, a good deal

   Байтаҡ эш башҡарылды.‎

   Baytaq eš bašqarïldï.

   Quite a lot of work has been done.

3. (time) quite a long time, quite a while

   Һуңғы осрашҡанға байтаҡ булды.‎

   Huñğï osrašqanğa baytaq buldï.

   It's been quite long time since last meeting.

Predicative

байтаҡ • ‎(baytaq)

1. there is many/much, there is quite a lot

   Уҡып сыҡҡас та, эш таба алмаған йәштәр әле лә байтаҡ.‎

   Uqïp sïqqas ta, eš taba almağan yäštär äle lä baytaq.

   There are still many young people who cannot find a job after graduation.
