1. (of a statement or claim) Right, correct.

   אד איגנורנטיום, "טיעון מן הבורות", הוא טיעון מקבוצת כשלי הסחה בו נטען שבגלל שמשהו לא הוכח ככזב, הרי שהוא נכון. — ad ignorántium, "tiún min haborút", hu tiún mikvutzát kishlei hasikhá bo nit'án shebiglál shemáshehu lo hukhákh k'khazáv, haréi shehú nakhón. — Ad ignorantium, "argument from ignorance", is an argument from the group of failures of diversion (i.e., logical fallacies, as are often used knowingly in an attempt to gain an undeserved upper hand in an intellectual debate) in which it is assumed that because something isn't proven to be false, therefore it is true.

2. (of an action) Right, correct, just.

   עשית את הדבר הנכון בכך שהחזרת את הפריט האבוד לבעליו. — asít(a) et hadavár hanakhón b'khakh shehekhzárt(a) et haprít ha'avúd l'va'aláv. — You did the right thing in returning (lit. in thus that you returned) the lost article to its owner.
