ar feadh ‎(plus genitive or possessive determiner, triggers no mutation)

1. for (over a period of time)

   ar feadh trí lá‎ ― for three days

   ar feadh tamaill, ar feadh píosa‎ ― for a while

2. during

   ar feadh an lae‎ ― during the day

Inflection

For semantic reasons, only third-person possessive determiners are found with this preposition:

• ar a fheadh ‎(“for/during it m”)
• ar a feadh ‎(“for/during it f”)
• ar a bhfeadh ‎(“for/during them”)
