arrivederla

arrivederla

Italian

Interjection

arrivederla

  1. goodbye, so long, see you soon, see you

Usage notes

  • Used instead of arrivederci in a more formal context, for people of either sex who would normally be addressed as "lei". Literally similarly means "until I see you again", with the feminine "la" which would normally be used only as a salutation to a woman or girl; the feminine is sometimes thus used in a gender-neutral way in Italian.[1]
