1. (dated, fandom slang) Back cover of a book, magazine or similar medium.
   • 1951 November, Hoffman, Lee, “The Ether Jiggles”, in Science-Fiction Five-Yearly, number 1, page 3:

     Gleefully we perused those two copies, noting such achievements as a five-color bacover (counting black).

   • 1959, Richard "Dick" Harris Eney, Fancyclopedia II, Eavesdroppings:

     They are a sort of bacover-quote, a lot of "-actual incredible things fans have said to one another."
