Usage notes

As with other numbers ending in -jard (with the exception of miljard, 10⁹), this number is disputed, as several authorities^[1][2] claim that it "is not numeral" and "there is no name for thousand billions [e.g. 10¹⁵] in Swedish", respectively. However, the linguist Allan Ellegård claimed in^[3] in 1980 the opposite.
