     En la somero ni esperas babiladi kun niaj Manĉestraj geamikoj ĉe ekskursoj.

Usage notes

Dated construction by writers who understood amiko as a masculine noun. Since amiko is gender-neutral now, the ge- prefix is superfluous, unless one wishes to emphasize that a group of friends includes both females and males.
