  1. (archaic) Nycticebus coucang, the Sunda slow loris.
    • 1838, The Madras Journal of Literature and Science (volume 7, page 69)
      Of the genus Loris are two species, the Kukang or Lemur tardigradus, and the Nycticebus Javanicus, the latter of which however I have not seen.
    • 1895, The Black Cat (volume 1, page 37)
