Either a Borrowing from Middle High Germanrathus or a Borrowing from Middle Low Germanrathûs. High German was spoken in the south of modern Poland, Low German in the north. Final -sz, that is /ʂ/, reflects /s̺/, which was the pronunciation for -s in both languages.
