   Ég er Íslendingur í húð og hár.

   I'm an Icelander through and through.

   Ég er Reykvíkingur í húð og hár, enda hef ég búið í Reykjavík allt mitt líf.

   It's only natural that I'm a Reykjavíker through and through as I've lived there all my life.

Usage notes

• This adverb is almost always used after demonyms, such as Íslendingur ‎(“Icelander”); after a profession (for example fisherman) or a hobby (like Liverpool fan).
