Usage notes

There are two references to Adam’s wife by name in the Old Testament. The LXX translates the first occurrence (Genesis 3:20) with ζωή ‎(zōḗ, “life”), and transliterates the second (Genesis 4:1) with Εὔα ‎(Eúa). Both New Testament references use Εὔα ‎(Eúa).
