1. (colloquial, sometimes humorous) in the summertime, in the summer (usually with reference to something not appropriate or usual for the season)

   Φοράει παλτό καλοκαιριάτικα; Σίγουρα θα πεθάνει από την ζεστή!‎ ― Foráei paltó kalokairiátika? Sígoura tha pethánei apó tin zestí! ― He's wearing a coat in the middle of the summer? He'll surely die of the heat!

   Φαντάσου ότι στην Γροιλανδία έχουν χιόνι καλοκαιριάτικα.‎ ― Fantásou óti stin Groilandía échoun chióni kalokairiátika. ― Imagine, in Greenland they have snow in the summer.
