Etymology

Backformation from the verb אַרײַנפֿירן ‎(araynfirn, “to introduce”), from אַרײַן ‎(arayn) +‎ פֿירן ‎(firn); at least in part, a loan translation of German einführen ‎(“to introduce”), itself of Latin introducere.
