Usage notes

• The Academy of the Hebrew Language states that there is logic in both the form גַּזְעָן ‎(gaze'án) and גִּזְעָן ‎(gíze'án). Since there is an advantage to the existence of only one form and the latter seem to be more common they recommend it.^[1]
