יִשְׁמְעוּ • ‎(yishm'ú) ‎(Biblical Hebrew pausal form יִשְׁמָעוּ ‎(yishmá'u))

1. Third-person masculine plural future tense (prefix conjugation) of שָׁמַע ‎(shamá).
   • Exodus 4:1:

     לֹא יַאֲמִינוּ לִי וְלֹא יִשְׁמְעוּ בְּקֹלִי

     ló yaamínu lí v'ló yishm'ú b'kolí

     they will not believe me and they will not listen to my voice

   • Psalms 115:6, with translation of the King James Version:

     אָזְנַיִם לָהֶם וְלֹא יִשְׁמָעוּ

     oznáyim lahém v'ló yishmáu

     They have ears, but they hear not
