1. to please, be liked by, seem good to (lit. to find grace in the eyes of)

   יִשְׂרָאֵל מְאוֹד מוֹצֵאת חֵן בְּעֵינַי.‎

   yisra'él me'ód motsét khén be'einái.

   I like Israel a lot. (lit. Israel really finds grace in my eyes.)

Usage notes

• Note that the expletive מְאוֹד ‎(m'ód) precedes this phrase in a sentence: יִשְׂרָאֵל מְאוֹד מוֹצֵאת חֵן בְּעֵינַי. ‎(yisra'él me'ód motsét khén be'einái., “I like Israel a lot.”).
