- A pipe, a piece of piping: a long tube, made of metal or another material, for the conveyance of water or other fluids.
- A ditch or trough for the conveyance of water.
- A flow, a current: a flowing of water.
- Psalms 24:7:
- תְּהוֹם־אֶל־תְּהוֹם קוֹרֵא לְקוֹל צִנּוֹרֶיךָ כָּל־מִשְׁבָּרֶיךָ וְגַלֶּיךָ עָלַי עָבָרוּ׃
- t'hom-el-t'hom koré l'kol tsinorékha kol-mishbarékha v'galékha alái aváru:
- Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.[1]

- The usual plural forms are as given above, but the regularly-formed plural forms צינורים \ צִנּוֹרִים (tsinorím) and צינורי \ צִנּוֹרֵי־ (tsinoréi-) are attested as well.
