Verb
غَلِقَ • (ḡaliqa) I, non-past يَغْلَقُ (yaḡlaqu)
- to become forfeit to the receiver when not redeemed in a stipulated time (of a pledge)
- to be unransomed or unredeemed
- to stick fast (of one's heart, temper, etc.)
- to be or become disquieted by grief
- to be or become angry
- to have worms in the base of its branches, rendering it unable to produce fruit (of a palm tree)
- to become galled with galls not to be cured (of a camel's back)
