   • 1992, พระราชบัญญัติแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมประมวลกฎหมายอาญา (ฉบับที่ ๑๑) พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๒:

     มาตรา ๓ ให้ยกเลิกความในมาตรา ๓๒๖ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายอาญา ซึ่งแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมโดยคำสั่งของคณะปฏิรูปการปกครองแผ่นดิน ฉบับที่ ๔๑ ลงวันที่ ๒๑ ตุลาคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๑๙ และให้ใช้ความต่อไปนี้แทน "มาตรา ๓๒๖ ผู้ใดใส่ความผู้อื่นต่อบุคคลที่สามโดยประการที่น่าจะทำให้ผู้อื่นนั้นเสียชื่อเสียง ถูกดูหมิ่น หรือถูกเกลียดชัง ผู้นั้นกระทำความผิดฐานหมิ่นประมาท ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินหนึ่งปี หรือปรับไม่เกินสองหมื่นบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ"‎

     Section 3 The provision of Section 326 of the Criminal Code, which has been amended by the Order of the National Administrative Reform Council No. 41 dated 21 October 1976, shall be repealed and replaced by the following: "Section 326 When any person, in the presence of a third person, imputes anything to another person in a manner likely to expose that person to disrepute, contempt, or hatred, the person commits a crime of defamation and shall be liable to imprisonment of not more than one year, or a fine of not more than twenty thousand baht, or both."

   • 1976, คำสั่งของคณะปฏิรูปการปกครองแผ่นดิน ฉบับที่ ๔๑ ลงวันที่ ๒๑ ตุลาคม ๒๕๑๙:

     ข้อ ๑ ให้ยกเลิกความในมาตรา ๑๑๒ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายอาญา และให้ใช้ความต่อไปนี้แทน "มาตรา ๑๑๒ ผู้ใดหมิ่นประมาท ดูหมิ่น หรือแสดงความอาฆาตมาดร้ายพระมหากษัตริย์ พระราชินี รัชทายาท หรือผู้สำเร็จราชการแทนพระองค์ ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่สามปีถึงสิบห้าปี"‎

     Article 1 The provision of Section 112 of the Criminal Code shall be repealed and replaced by the following: "Section 112 Any person who defames, insults, or expresses ill will towards the king, queen, heir apparent, or regent shall be liable to imprisonment from three years to fifteen years."
