1. the beginning [of the world]

   太初에 하나님이 天地를 創造하시니라
   태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라.‎(Korean Bible, 창세기 (Genesis) 1:1)

   Taecho-e hananim-i cheonji-reul changjohasinira.

   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

   太初에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라
