1. Added to verb stems to form feminine agent nouns. Usually accented on the ultima.

   αὐλέω ‎(auléō, “to play the flute”) + ‎-τρις ‎(-tris) → ‎αὐλητρίς ‎(aulētrís, “flute-girl”)
