- This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
- Posture the dominant hand in the “1” handshape about half an arm's length in front of the shoulder, dominant palm facing down.
- Hold the hand still briefly.
- The sign may also be produced with different palm orientations, but if the radial (thumb-side) edge of the hand faces up, this sign becomes a homophone for 1@InsideChesthigh-RadialUp (“you, he, she, it”).
