Etymology

It means “its summit never melts”: doo ‎(“not”) akʼi ‎(“on top”) ʼa- ‎(3rd-person indefinite subject pronoun) + yi- ‎(transitional aspect denoting change in form) + -ł- ‎(transitive classifier) + -lííd ‎(verb stem meaning to melt off)
