1. (science fiction, often derogatory) An inhabitant of the Earth.

     "Earthgirl?" the guard repeated. "She didn't look like an Earthie."

   • 1963 May, Jakes, John, “Underfollow”, in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, volume 24, number 5 (#144 overall), page 66:

     The blue men of Mica II discriminated against Earthies, considered them inferior since the Micans had conquered the Earthies a hundred years ago.
