From the third-person present indictive bylur ‎(“reverberates, resounds”) and hæst ‎(“loudest”) and í ‎(“in”) and the feminine singular dative tómri ‎(“empty”) and the singular dative tunnu ‎(“in a barrel”); literally meaning "it reverberates the most in an empty barrel".
