camomila f (plural camomilas)
camomila f (plural camomilas)
From Latin chamoemelon, from Ancient Greek χαμαίμηλον (khamaímēlon, “earth-apple”), from χαμαί (khamaí, “on the ground”) + μῆλον (mêlon, “apple”). So called because of the apple-like scent of the plant.
