1. to squint (usually succeeded by los ojos)

   Se puede ver esto sin entrecerrar los ojos.

   This can be seen without squinting.

2. to close halfway, to leave ajar

   Cuando se marchó, entrecerró la puerta.

   When he left, he closed the door halfway.
