Lithuanian
Conjunction
kadángi
- because, since
- Kadangi jai patinka filmai, ji perka televizorių.
- Because she likes films, she's buying a TV.
Usage notes
The main difference between kadangi and nes is that kadangi can begin the first or second clause of a compound sentence, whereas nes is only used in the second clause. Kadangi, however, is still mostly used in the first clause.
