Etymology
From Proto-Albanian*śur-(nā), from Proto-Indo-European*seHur 'to piss, make water'. Cognate to Ancient Greek οὐρέω(ouréō, “to piss”) and Hittite sēẖur(“urine”). The hardening of the inlaut may have expressive reasons[1]. A further connection to Germanic *suraz 'sour' and Lithuanian súras(“salty”) is also possible.
