Genitive singular masculine and neuter form of thē
Etymology
Unsure. Either from Proto-Albanian*tsatja, from Proto-Indo-European*ket- (compare Serbo-Croatian kòtac ‘cattle-shed, weir’, Latin catinus ‘bowl’, Old English heaðor ‘enclosure, jail’) or, according to Cabej and Demiraj, a derivation from a substrate, along with Ancient Greek σάκκος(sákkos, “bag of coarse cloth”), in turn from Phoenician.
