1. (transitive) to hit; to strike; to punch; to deal a blow

   Uderzył go prosto w twarz.

   He hit him straight in the face.

2. (colloquial, combined with the preposition do and object in genitive) to hit up; to contact with a request or demand

   Jeśli potrzebujesz notatek z wykładu, uderz do Mariusza.

   If you need notes from the lecture, hit up Mariusz.
