English
Noun
vote mob (plural vote mobs)
- (Canada) A gathering of usually young people assembled for the purpose of voting in an election or encouraging youth participation in it and often organized through online social media
- The organizers claim these fun, upbeat gatherings are non-partisan in nature and have nothing to do with political protest. In particular, the event has also been called a "surprise party," as evidenced by a You-Tube video in which a vote mob comes out of the woods and rolls out a banner that reads, "Surprise! We are voting!" ― Michael Taube[1]
