wedi (often heard shortened to 'di)

1. past (time)

   chwarter wedi naw‎ ― quarter past nine

   hanner awr 'di un‎ ― half past one

2. after, used to form the perfect aspect

   Dw i wedi cysgu‎ ― I have slept (literally "I am after sleeping")

   Rwyt ti wedi cysgu?‎ ― Have you slept? (literally "Are you after sleeping?")

   Bydd o 'di cysgu‎ ― He will have slept (literally "He will be after sleeping")
