x-sistemo ‎(uncountable, accusative x-sistemon)

1. x-system: a convention whereby Esperanto's diacritics (ĉ, ĝ, ĥ, ĵ, ŝ, ŭ) are replaced by an x after the letter (cx, gx, hx, jx, sx, ux), for convenience of typing.

   La Vikipedio aŭtomate transkodas tekston skribitan en la x-sistemo al ĉapelita teksto.

   The Esperanto Wikipedia automatically converts text written in x-system to circumflexed text.
