   • 1992, พระราชบัญญัติให้ใช้บทบัญญัติบรรพ ๑ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ที่ได้ตรวจชำระใหม่ พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๕:

     มาตรา ๓๗ ภูมิลำเนาของบุคคลธรรมดา ได้แก่ ถิ่นอันบุคคลนั้นมีสถานที่อยู่เป็นแหล่งสำคัญ‎

     mâat-dtraa sǎm-sìp jèt puum-lam-nao kɔ̌ɔng bùk-kon-tam-má-daa dâai-gɛ̀ɛ tìn an bùk-kon nán mii sà-tǎan-tîi yùu bpen lɛ̀ng sǎm-kan

     Section 37 The domicile of a natural person is the principal place wherein he lives.

     มาตรา ๓๙ ถ้าภูมิลำเนาไม่ปรากฏ ให้ถือว่า ถิ่นที่อยู่เป็นภูมิลำเนา‎

     mâat-dtraa sǎm-sìp gâao tâa puum-lam-nao mâi bpraa-gòt hâi tʉ̌ʉ wâa tìn-tîi-yùu bpen puum-lam-nao

     Section 39 If his domicile appears not, his place of residence shall be deemed his domicile.

     มาตรา ๔๑ ภูมิลำเนาย่อมเปลี่ยนไปด้วยการย้ายถิ่นที่อยู่พร้อมด้วยเจตนาปรากฏชัดแจ้งว่าจะเปลี่ยนภูมิลำเนา‎

     mâat-dtraa sìi-sìp èt puum-lam-nao yɔ̂m bplìian bpai dûuai gaan-yáai tìn-tîi-yùu prɔ́ɔm-dûuai jèet-dtà-naa bpraa-gòt chát-jɛ̂ɛng wâa jà bplìian puum-lam-nao

     Section 41 The domicile is changed if the person changes his place of residence with the manifestly expressed intention of changing his domicile.
