• Сей is an archaic form that is seldom used in speech or in prose unless compounded with other words or in certain set phrases:

• сего́дня ‎(sevódnja) — today
• сейча́с ‎(sejčás) — immediately
• сию́ мину́ту — this very minute
• до сих по́р — until now
• по сей день — until this day
• и то́ и сё — both this and the other
• то да сё — one thing and another
• ни то́ ни сё — neither the one nor the other

• It can also be used in a stilted or jocular style.
