1. (anatomy) back; spine, backbone

   բեկանել զողն‎ ― bekanel zołn ― to break the spine, to chine

   ողն անկանել‎ ― ołn ankanel ― to lie down, to lay oneself down, to stretch one's limbs; (figuratively) to neglect, not to care for

   յողն երթալ‎ ― yołn ertʿal ― to stretch oneself; to stretch out one's arms (in yawning or awaking)

   յողն կալ‎ ― yołn kal ― to stand erect, to draw oneself up; (figuratively) to grow proud; to become rebellious

   խստացուցանել զողն‎ ― xstacʿucʿanel zołn ― to stiffen one's neck, to be proud, stubborn, contumacious

   ողն առնուլ‎ ― ołn aṙnul ― to lean against; (figuratively) to find support

   ողն առնուլ ի վշտաց‎ ― ołn aṙnul i vštacʿ ― to breathe from one's troubles, to repose from care or affliction

   ողն բեկանիլ‎ ― ołn bekanil ― to sprain or break one's back or neck; (figuratively) to end in smoke; to become discouraged, disheartened, desponding, to droop
