The plural ܪܒܢܐ (rabbānēʾ) is used for the sense of "leaders" while the plural ܪܒܢܐ (rawr(ə)ḇānēʾ) is used for the sense of "teachers". The plural ܪܒܐ (rabbēʾ) is rare for either sense.
