騎樓
- A style of architecture commonly found in southern Chinese cities and in Taiwan. The first floor is comprised of commercial shops and eateries, whereas the second floor and above are living spaces. The second floor extends further into the street, providing a covered first floor outdoor walkway. This walkway provides protection from the rain and sun, and is often filled with shops and eateries.
