짚다 • ‎(jipda) ‎(infinitive 짚어, sequential 짚으니)

1. To rely, rest (on a cane, stick, etc.)

   땅 짚고 헤엄치기‎ ― ttang jipgo heeomchigi ― as easy or safe as swimming (with the arms) resting on the ground

2. To dip (a dipstick to stand on the bottom)
3. To point (at something specific as (if) with a finger)
4. To touch, feel (at some body part to examine the temperature, pulses, etc.)
5. To guess, estimate (relying on, or starting from, some baseline)
