1. that

   տունն‎ ― tunn ― that house

2. placed at the end of words it serves as a definite article

   այրն, կինն, մանկունքն‎ ― ayrn, kinn, mankunkʿn ― the man, the woman, the boys

   մինն ի նոցանէ մեռաւ, եւ միւսն կենդանի է‎ ― minn i nocʿanē meṙaw, ew miwsn kendani ē ― one of them is dead, the other is alive

   մեծն Աղեքսանդր‎ ― mecn Ałekʿsandr ― Alexander the great

   միանգամ յամին‎ ― miangam yamin ― once a year

   երկիցս յաւուրն‎ ― erkicʿs yawurn ― twice a day

3. sometimes serves for ornament

   երկիւղն յորմէ խիթային‎ ― erkiwłn yormē xitʿayin ― (please add an English translation of this usage example)
