1. (diminutive suffix) Added to a word to express smallness or endearment.

   Ferenc ‎(“Francis”) → Ferkó ‎(“Frank”)

Usage notes

• (diminutive suffix) No longer productive. Harmonic variants:

  -kó is added to back vowel words

  -kő is added to front vowel words
