1. once (one time)

   Csak egyszer mondom el!‎ ― I will only say it once!

2. one day, once (some time in the past or the future)

   Majd egyszer elmesélem.‎ ― I will tell you one day.

   Egyszer voltam Párizsban.‎ ― I have been to Paris once.

3. (colloquial) simply (used when something is obvious to the speaker, usually in possibly unfinished conditional sentences with the word ha - "if")

   De ha egyszer ez az igazság!‎ ― But this is simply the truth!
