1. to roast, to bake, to fry something completely, until it reaches the desired final state

   izcept maizi, torti, pīrāgus‎ ― to bake bread, cake, pies

   izcept kartupeļus‎ ― to bake or fry potatoes

   izcept kotletes‎ ― to fry meatballs

   olas tīri vai izcepa karstajā saulē‎ ― the eggs were almost fried in the hot sun

   maize krāsnī jau izcepusi‎ ― the bread in the oven is already (fully) baked

   Sapa, visu dienu audusi, gribēja vēl novakarā izcept kādu rausīti‎ ― Sapa, having sewn all day, still wanted to bake some little cake in the evening

   gudroju, ko īsti izceps Sabīne man par godu: maizītes vai varbūt... kliņģeri?‎ ― I wonder what exactly Sabīne will bake for me: a bread roll or maybe... a pretzel?
