käryāñ pl
The usual word for heart is arañce, käryāñ appears to be an archaism attested in only one passage.
From a singular form *käryā-, from Proto-Tocharian *käryā-, from Proto-Indo-European *kṛd(i)yeh₂-, from *ḱḗr, whence also English heart, Old Irish cride. Compare Tocharian A kri (“will”).
