Kalash ‎(countable and uncountable, plural Kalasha or Kalash)

1. (countable) A Dardic indigenous group residing in the Chitral District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. They speak the Kalasha language and are considered unique among the peoples of Pakistan. Additionally, they are also considered to be Pakistan's smallest ethnic/cultural community, numbering around 4100, about half of which practice the Kalash religion and half are Islamic converts.
2. (uncountable) The Kalash religion, a polytheistic religion where nature plays a highly significant and spiritual role in their daily life. As part of their religious tradition, sacrifices are offered and festivals held to give thanks for the abundant resources of their three valleys.

4. (uncountable) Kalash culture, practiced by both Kalash Muslims and followers of Kalash (religion).
