Preposition
kwa-
Usage notes
Unlike other prepositions, kwa- is not attached to the full form of the noun, but rather to the stem (without the noun prefix). When attached to pronouns, the pronouns take the possessive combining form when it exists (-ithu instead of -thi and so on). This is because it has its origins in the possessive concord above, and derives from the original locative meaning of class 17.
