like as

1. (archaic) Just as; in the same way as; even as.
   • 1611, Bible, Job 5.26

     Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.

Usage notes

The forms like as if and like as and are sometimes found. The former is rare; the latter obsolete.
