1. (transitive) to add, to increase, to augment

   յաւելուլ խօսել‎ ― yawelul xōsel ― to repeat, to say again, to reply, to rejoin

   յաւելուլ ի զօրութիւն‎ ― yawelul i zōrutʿiwn ― to redouble one's strength

   յաւելուլ ոյժ ումեք‎ ― yawelul oyž umekʿ ― to sustain another's efforts

   յաւելուլ զինչս իւր‎ ― yawelul zinčʿs iwr ― to increase one's wealth

   աւուրս յաւուրս յաւելուլ‎ ― awurs yawurs yawelul ― to lengthen life

   յաւելուլ զվարձս ծառայի‎ ― yawelul zvarjs caṙayi ― to raise the wages of a domestic

   յաւել յիս զօրութիւն‎ ― yawel yis zōrutʿiwn ― it gave me new strength

   եւ յաւել ծնանել‎ ― ew yawel cnanel ― and then brought forth

   ոչ եւս յաւելից անիծանել‎ ― očʿ ews yawelicʿ anicanel ― will never curse again

   մի եւս յաւելուցուք տեսանել զերեսս իմ‎ ― mi ews yawelucʿukʿ tesanel zeress im ― see my face no more
