觀眾／观众 (guānzhòng) and 聽眾／听众 (tīngzhòng) are different; 觀眾／观众 (guānzhòng) refers to an audience which is directly watching a public event, such as spectators at a stadium, while 聽眾／听众 (tīngzhòng) refers to a listening audience, such as a group of radio listeners.
